Privacy
What we collect when you ask for a quote, what we do with it, and how to get it changed or removed.
What we collect
When you request a quote we collect your name, phone number, email address, suburb and whatever you tell us about the job. If you go ahead with a job we also hold your address, access instructions and payment details.
Our website records the IP address and browser type of anyone submitting the quote form. This is used only to block spam and abuse.
What we use it for
To quote and do the work you asked for, to contact you about it, and to invoice you. We do not sell your details or share them with anyone outside Mitieli Caucau and the software providers we use to run the business, who are bound to handle it in line with the Australian Privacy Principles.
Keys and access
If you leave a key or lockbox code, it is used only for your job and never written down with your address.
Where it is stored
Quote requests and customer records are stored on servers in Australia. We keep customer records for seven years after the last job, as required for tax purposes, and delete quote requests that did not become a booking after twelve months.
Your rights
You can ask to see what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing [email protected]. We respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with how we handle a complaint you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
